Joe Bar
"Best Crepes (...in Capitol Hill)"
March 23, 2008 - Lovely, small bar that can get a wee bit crowded, especially when the crepe bar opens at 11:00.  Still, very much worth it.

El Tajin
"Best out of Three"
March 23, 2008 - Of the three Mexican restaurants in the area (Galerias, La Cocina Santiago, and El Tajin) this one has the best food by far.  Since its opened I've only ever gone back to Galerias for their mole verde, or to y Cocina for the cheap azz margaritas.

Magic Dragon Restaurant
"Excellent for what it is."
November 09, 2007 - All the guilty goodness of food court Chinese food without the annoying teenagers.

La Cocina Santiago
"I don't like Mexican food..."
November 09, 2007 - ...but I keep going back to La Cocina.  The people are excellent, the drinks are big and yummy, and there's always something on the menu that fits my mood.

Hot Mama's Pizza
"Nice and easy"
November 09, 2007 - Best slices in this neck of the woods.

Hopvine Pub
"Excellent beer, good food."
November 09, 2007 - Hopvine takes its time to give you something a notch higher than you usually find in a brewpub.  Take the opportunity to have another pint.

Deluxe Bar & Grill
"Don't go for the beer..."
November 09, 2007 - My wife really likes this place, but every time I've gone by draft has been flat, stale, off, or just plain funny tasting.

Charlie's on Broadway
"Comfort more than food"
November 09, 2007 - The food here was reasonably priced and fairly decent.  However the laid-back atmosphere, the friendly staff, and big, comfy booths are what keep me going back.

Bella Pizza and Pasta
"Pretty Good"
November 09, 2007 - Best pizza on the north end of Cap Hill -- friendly folks and a fair selection of beers on tap.

Aoki Japanese Grill & Sushi Bar
"Decent Rolls"
November 09, 2007 - Not the best sushi is Seattle, but decent for what you can get in Cap Hill.

Toscana Pizzeria
"*Yawn*"
November 09, 2007 - Flat, boring pizza.

Pho Cyclo Cafe
"Excellent!"
August 01, 2007 - Very yummy Bun; the spring rolls, I could take 'em or leave 'em.

Broadway New American Grill
"Old Standby"
August 01, 2007 - Solid, if typical, American food.

Top Pot Doughnuts (Capitol Hill)
"Yay!"
August 01, 2007 - Excellent fritters, massive doughnuts, and all of it oh-so-yummy.

Byzantion
"Meh"
August 01, 2007 - While the food was tasty enough, the portions were undersized and overpriced -- Hummus appetizer comes with only one pita and they charge $1.50 per additional, wine was good but in smaller glasses, and the entrees sized for small children.  Staff was friendly, but our table (and another on the patio) were forgotten during a shift change, causing us to sit for ten minutes after we'd finished our meal until we decided to go find a waiter for our bill.
