Wallingford Pizza House
"Best Damn Pizza in Town!"
August 19, 2007 - Finally, a pizza place in Seattle that understands how to put spinach on the pie - UNDER the cheese, not on top where it gets all burnt and crispy!  The deep dish pizza is pure Chicago, with plenty of sauce and cheese.

Annapurna Cafe
"Perfection!"
August 19, 2007 - This place has amazing food!  The best palak paneer in town, and yummy chai too.  If you are extra hungry, try the prawn pakora appetizer.

"Bad Food, Bad Attitude"
August 19, 2007 - We used to be regular brunch eaters here, but the mediocre food was considerably less palatable after the amazing DJ who spun old school R&B left.  When I say mediocre, I am really being quite nice, considering that one time we were served our brunch with a latex glove in it, and another time the toast was covered in mold.  But, as we are Georgetowners and like to support local businesses, we decided to give them another try.  WE WILL NEVER GO BACK.  After waiting 15 minutes at a table with dirty dishes, we finally got the server's attention long enough to get them cleared, but didn't manage to get menus or our drinks for another 15 minutes.  We waited 45 minutes more for our food to come out, and when it finally did one scramble was missing the cheese.  Not the end of the world, but when I asked for said cheese  the server had the audacity to bring out cold cheese to add to the (now lukewarm) scramble!  I was told the food couldn't be taken back and reheated with the cheese, and had to insist to then have the order re-made.  At this point, I was too angry to eat so we decided to leave before any blood was spilled.  Our server mumbled something close to an apology, and $2 was taken off the bill.  While we were waiting, we heard another customer ask the bartender to please ring him up, as he had been waiting 30 minutes already!  Another couple walked out without paying the full bill, saying "With service like this, what do you expect?"  Needless to say, WE WILL NEVER GO BACK, and caution others who may be tempted to eat here to stay away.
