Library Bistro "Gross" January 19, 2008 - The food was stale, there was construction going on, flys were everywhere -- I will not be going back. |

Serafina "Great time" January 19, 2008 - I enjoyed my experience at Serafina. True, the music is very loud - but it's live, which is definitely a nice touch. The staff is friendly. When my table was in limbo with a few bottles of wine to select from the head chef came to our table and helped us to select a wine. I felt that was incredible service. The eggplant is very flavoral with the right balance of spices and ricotta cheese. Someone else at our table had the pork ribs and found them to be excellently seasoned. The chicken dish was a bit dry. Overall, we were very happy with our dining experience. The atmosphere was warm, romantic, and cozy. 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

Cactus "Good mojitos & nachos." September 01, 2007 - The mojitos and nachos are probably the best thing at Cactus. I like the Madison Park crowd as well... and the wait staff is quite friendly. |

Dahlia Lounge "Im a Douglas fan & wasn't impressed with this one." September 01, 2007 - The best thing about Dahlia Lounge is the coconut cream pie and maybe, the bar. I am a Tom Douglas fan-- Palace Kitchen & Serious Pie are both on my list of faves with Lola a spot for a yummy brunch. I do not think the menu worked for me and the food didn't taste up to par with what I expect out of a gourmet chef of Tom Douglas's caliber. Sad to say this, but this one isn't a fave. However, the coconut cream pies are amazing and great with a cup of coffee. I definitely love the Dahlia Bakery-- that place has delicious treats (including mini coconut pies). |

Palace Kitchen "Loyal fan, love it!" September 01, 2007 - Palace Kitchen is my favorite Tom Douglas restaurant. It has an ever changing menu, delightful cocktail selections and a quality restaurant that you can go to and receive consistently good food. Will come back. Douglas got me hooked on this one which has led me to frequenting his other establishments-- Lolas, Serious Pie... However, this one keeps me coming back. |

Serious Pie "Trendy little pizza shop!" September 01, 2007 - Great place to do a lunch. The set up of the restaurant is quite trendy, the pizza selection is defintely gourment and very flavorful. I would easily recommend this to friends for a Saturday lunch out. 1 person likes this review - Recommend |

Lola "Great brunch!" September 01, 2007 - Have had both dinner and brunch at Lola's. Have to say that this is another Tom Douglas restaurant done very well. I would definitely recommend this place for brunch. The dinner experience didn't reel me in like my favorite Douglas orignale-- Palace Kitchen. But, overall very happy and satisifed! When you go for brunch start out with coffee and the doughnuts! It's the perfect start to enjoying a yummy brunch. |

Wild Ginger "Hip Place!" September 01, 2007 - I have been to Wild Ginger for multiple business lunches and dinners with friends. It is a hip restaurant that has a nice balance of asian fusion. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. Every time I have gone I have left feeling very satisfied. The wine options are great, the satay pheasant starter is delicious, as well as the kung pao chicken (suprisingly). The coconut gelato for desert is divine. I will keep coming back and recommending this restaurant! |

Tilth "Yummy Duck Burgers" August 21, 2007 - I had the chance to go to Tilth with friends and I admit-- the service wasn't the greatest, but the food spoke for itself. It was had a fresh, flavorful and reinvigorated my taste buds. The duck burgers were perfected to an art and the ricotta pasta was excellent introducing a tart foam to my palate that mixed well with the cheese. Overall, I was quite happy with the food and felt the selection provided a restauranter with an enjoyable experience. Definitely will go again. |

Canlis "Turned off" August 21, 2007 - I went to Canlis for a birthday. True to it's reputation-- the wait staff is excellent greeting you instantaneously, you do not get a valet ticket; however, your car doesn't magically reappear once you are ready to leave, and the food is good, but not divine. The Sommelier was not conversative, did not seem to know his wine and also seemed quite young/inexperienced.The demographic was primarily an older, more conservative and stuffy crowd. It wasn't a food-lover's extravagaanza and I probably will not be going back. Perhaps I am a tough sell or maybe I just love quality food! 3 people like this review - Recommend |
