Cremant "Delicious and Comfortable" October 29, 2007 - We ate at Cremant last night (5:30 on a Sunday) and truthfully, I wasn't expecting to love the restaurant -- I'm not traditionally a fan of French food, nor do I normally enjoy the pretentiousness of fine restaurants. Cremant surprised me on all fronts -- the food was fantastic and approachable (an Onion soup entree/appetizer, a basic Scallops main dish, and brussel sprouts side), and the service was very down to earth with in depth explanations of menu choices and attentive, but not overbearing, service. I would definitely recommend Cremant for a nice evening out with friends where you want to take it up several notches on the quality front while retaining the down-to-earth Seattle attitude. |
