Earth & Ocean
"Good spot for pre-concert bite"
March 15, 2007 - I've been here several times before concerts at Benaroya Hall for light munchies and drinks.  Unlike Wild Ginger, it's not all crammed with people pre-concert, and the food is consistently very good.  The 25 for $25 meal is pretty light on portion size but perfect for a pre-concert bite.  We had the selection of cured meats, some excellent short ribs, and assorted cookies for dessert.

All-Purpose Pizza & Ale
"West coast style!"
November 19, 2006 - I'm a little biased because I know the owners, but I've been eating Greg's pizza since long before there was a restaurant - it's mighty tasty.  He goes west coast style, influenced by the pizza I ate growing up in San Francisco - extra-flavorful sourdough crust, lots of toppings.  Salads are way above average too - they aren't afraid to use red onions, quality greens, tasty blue cheese dressing - bold flavors, in other words.  Ask for the Hale's Cream Ale on tap.

Mistral
"Chef William is the man"
November 19, 2006 - Executive Chef William Belickis is back in town after his sojourn in Thailand, and the food at his restaurant is better than ever.  Several of the finest meals in my life have been served at this restaurant.  Mistral compares favorably to the very best in New York or San Francisco - among the best anywhere, for that matter.

Monsoon
"I *love* Monsoon"
November 19, 2006 - Had my second dinner there on Thursday night, and the food was every bit as delicious as the first time.  Plus their wine list is great, and the guy who was serving us happened to be in charge of tasting and selecting that list - so we had a mighty good bottle of wine to go with.

Vij's
"My reply to Kate"
March 03, 2008 - Yes, I would wait 2.5 hours to eat at Vij's again - that's how good it was last time we went... We waited for a while too (not quite 2.5 hrs), but once seated we were treated like royalty - our boys even toured the kitchen at the invitation of the owner at the end of our meal. And everything, just everything was soooo tasty.
