Milk and Honey Cafe
"Not worth it..."
May 11, 2007 - They were so busy when we went there that after waiting for 40 minutes, we sat down at a dirty table, they did not to seem to be child-friendly, our order came but it was not all that we ordered.  We ate feeling that these sandwiches were like those you get at a major supermarket--dull and mediocre.  We did not understand what the fuss was all about.  We could have paid the same or less for better sandwiches and a soup somewhere else and would have had a better experience without rudeness.

Artemio's Bakery
"Artemio's Bakery"
May 11, 2007 - This bakery is a gem with a few rough edges.  The breads, pastries and cakes are great.  I go early,  most Sunday mornings to pick up baked goods that are warm and fresh out of the oven to bring  home.  We buy pastries from this neighborhood bakery, all the time.  We recommend it.

Charlie Trotter's
"Trotter's is good for special occassions"
May 11, 2007 - Took our parents and uncle and aunt to dinner to Trotters.  It was a special occassion--they were meeting for the first time prior to our wedding.  While it is was hefty proposition, the food, the experience, the wine, the service were all great.

Spring
"It was mediocre to us..."
May 11, 2007 - My wife and I took a guest from out of town to have dinner at Spring.  We spent over $300 for mediocre food and over priced wine.  Lesson learned: we will take guests to places we have tried already and know are good.
